Terms & Conditions

 

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Lina SG Photography, based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. By booking a session, you agree to the following:

​

1. Booking, Payment & Creative Fee

All services are offered as fixed Project Packages and are not provided on an hourly basis.

A non-refundable Creative & Booking Fee is required to secure your session. This fee covers project planning, pre-production, and reservation of the photographer’s time.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the session and must be paid in full prior to the release of final images.

Payments are accepted via PayPal or Revolut. For invoicing, please contact info@linasgphotography.com.

2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Weather

All payments are non-refundable.

Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Requests made within 48 hours may incur a fee or result in loss of the booking fee.

In cases of illness or unforeseen circumstances, please notify me as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate a new date.

For outdoor sessions, guidance will be provided on the best lighting conditions (such as golden hour). If a session is booked at a time against professional advice, I am not responsible for outcomes such as harsh light, shadows, or glare.

In the event of extreme or unsuitable weather, sessions may be rescheduled to ensure safety and maintain the intended visual quality.

3. Creative Direction & Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing a clear brief prior to the session, including intended use (e.g. social media, website), format (vertical/horizontal), and overall vision.

By booking, you confirm that you have reviewed my portfolio and are choosing to work with me based on my artistic style.

Dissatisfaction relating to artistic interpretation, personal appearance, wardrobe, location, or natural lighting conditions does not constitute grounds for refund.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Arriving on time

  • Ensuring the shoot location is accessible and safe

Late arrival may result in reduced session time.

Any significant changes to the brief after the session has taken place will be treated as a new booking and may incur additional fees.

4. Image Delivery & Gallery Access

Final edited images will be delivered within approximately 7 days via a private online gallery (Pic-Time).

Each gallery includes a curated selection of professionally edited images. The photographer retains full discretion over image selection and editing.

RAW or unedited files are not provided.

The number of delivered images depends on the selected package. Additional images may be available for purchase.

Galleries remain accessible for a minimum of 30 days from the delivery date.

5. Copyright & Usage License

All images remain the intellectual property (copyright) of Lina SG Photography.

Upon full payment, clients receive a non-exclusive usage license valid for 3 years, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This license allows use for:

  • Personal use

  • Social media

  • Website and brand marketing

Images may not be:

  • Sold or redistributed

  • Altered beyond basic cropping (unless agreed)

  • Supplied to third parties without written permission

Use in paid advertising, publications, billboards, or third-party campaigns requires additional licensing or a commercial buyout.

Credit (e.g. Photography by Lina SG Photography) is always appreciated.

Failure to comply with these terms may result in revocation of the license.

6. Model Release & Privacy

By booking, clients grant permission for selected images to be used for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to have your images shared, please notify me in writing prior to or during your session.

All personal data is handled in accordance with GDPR and applicable Irish data protection laws.

7. Refund Policy

Once a session has been completed and images edited, the service is considered fully rendered.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal appearance concerns

  • Styling or wardrobe choices

  • Location or environmental factors

In the unlikely event of a technical failure, a reshoot will be offered. This is the sole remedy available.

If the photographer is unable to fulfil the booking due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a reschedule or full refund will be provided.

8. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure a safe and professional experience, Lina SG Photography is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during or after the session.

Clients participate at their own risk and are responsible for their personal belongings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

10. Agreement

By booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms form part of any contract or agreement entered into with Lina SG Photography.
